I don't use knife sharpener. I sometimes sharpen my knives with a piece of marble, and usually buy new knife when older stop working. I am very happy to get this knife sharpener.
The best thing about this sharpener is it have a handle that is very secure and safe to hold and it makes grip very easy. The base let the sharpener stay on the countertop or any other surface.
Another great feature of this knife sharpener is that its not like other knife sharpeners. Other give a V shape to the knife, but it give a concave shape to the knife making it much more sharper.
When you want to sharpen a knife, hold the handle and pass the knife on the blades several times. It works good. And my already good knives get more sharpened.
